Rules and Expectations
Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited in or within 5m of any building or Holiday Park Caravans
Check out time: 10 a.m. unless prior approval by management or extended by a promotion. Late check out may result in surcharge. Leave your site clear (Sticks, Stones and Pinecones etc.) for the next Camper or the Mower.
All Tents or Caravans must be set 1m from site lines or 3m from neighbouring Caravans
Check-in time: 1:00 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Quiet Time shall be observed between 10:00 p.m. and 7 a.m. (New Year’s Eve excepted). Consideration to other guests must be shown at all times.
ALL visitors must check in at office for security, safety and in case of an emergency reasons and must depart the campground by 9:00 pm Visitors to our guests are by courtesy of management but may be required to pay a day fee. Registered guests are responsible for their Visitors.
Parking: All vehicles, including visitors, must be parked on the camper’s own campsite. Vehicles parked elsewhere may be towed and the expense charged to the registered camper or vehicle owner. During peak season, no visitors’ cars are permitted in the campground unless approved by management. Between Boxing Day and 4 January, only 2 vehicles per site are permitted unless approved by management so that an expedient and orderly evacuation can be done in the event of an emergency.
Speed: During peak times, vehicles are to be driven at walking speed (5 KPH), and at 10 KPH maximum at all other time and keep on designated road ways unless driving onto your site. Judder bars are in place to control speed. Please do not drive around them.
Motorbikes: Recreational use of Motorbikes, including ATV, quad bikes, dirt bikes, and 3 wheelers is prohibited within the campground during the busy holiday season. Please be aware that there is a bylaw prohibiting use of motorised vehicles in the sand hills adjacent to the camp, and all motorised vehicles are prohibited on the beach, except during the whitebait season when vehicles with WDC permits are allowed on the specified track.
Children: Parents or Caregivers are responsible for their Children and should be supervised at all times. Pre-schoolers must be accompanied by an adult to toilets and showers.
Bicycles: Cyclists are reminded that helmets must be worn, and to ride on roadways only within the park.
Drones: for our Guests privacy and peace of mind, Drones are prohibited within/over the Holiday Park.
Payment: Payment in full required at check-in unless prior approval by management. No refunds for early departure during peak season or long holiday weekends. Extenuating circumstances may be considered.
Power: All caravans, campervans, and busses must have current electric warrant to plug in to power point. Tent campers are required to use RCD protected cords.
-Prior permission must be made with management before the commencement of a booking. Visitors’ pets are not permitted.
-Pets must not be left unsupervised and be on a lead no longer than 1.8m while in the holiday park at all times.
-Pet litter is to be picked up by the owner.
-No pets are allowed in any Holiday Park Buildings, Cabins or Park owned caravans.
-No pets allowed over the peak season (Dec 15th -Jan 31st) or holiday weekend.
-Pets that make constant loud noises day or night will not be permitted, you may be asked to leave if you are not able to control the pet’s noisy behaviour.
-Management reserves the right to refuse pets at any time.
-Pets are limited to designated area within the holiday park and can’t go beyond that area.
- When outside the holiday park please adhere to any local bylaws.
Code of Conduct: If at any time a guest is destructive, abusive, a nuisance or non-compliant they will be required to vacate the Holiday Park immediately without refund, the registered guest may be required to cover the costs of damage incurred. Alcoholic drinks must be consumed in your own site or accommodation unit and are not permitted in common areas. Excessive drinking and loud parties are not permitted. Underage drinking is not permitted except under parental supervision and in the parent’s campsite or unit.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Rules are subject to change at the owner’s discretion. Management assumes no responsibility for damages caused by acts of nature or by third parties.
